Set in an ancient valley in Dartmoor, south England is Becky Falls, a natural waterfall in a nature park and conservation area. You can follow various nature trails around the falls and stream which are suitable for all abilities of ramblers to walk through it, over it on rocks or around it in the woods. Business Bay Dubai

A view from the 124th floor viewing platform of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. I had previously shot from the outdoor side which has no windows. Facing the other direction towards Business Bay you can only shoot through the glass which presents it’s own issues as reflections are impossible to avoid totally. At this time of year the visibility is very poor so they actually have telescopes that you can point in any direction and see what you see today, what it looks like on a clear day and also at night time. The fact that they provide an option for a clear day tells you all you need to know about what you can expect to see in the summer months…

Banyan Tree

We recently visited the Banyan Tree Resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE and to get to the resort the boat takes you past this rather uninhabited island. As for the resort, it is does not live up to the reputation or standards expected of a Banyan Tree resort so is best avoided.
